Plenny Shake Banana Reviews

4.5 Rating 12,309 Reviews

Tasted much better then I would imagine, even though my girlfriend told its like sawdust. This texture can be smoothened by letting it lay for a while in a fridge. (If you would prefer it smooth, I do not). Product is certainly filling, keeps you well fed. Packaging is also great. It does not matter if you do not use whole package in one day as it is easily resealable. 10/10 would recommend.

Dear Jimmy Joy/Plenny shake team, Thanks for investing time in a product that really brings joy to the life of people in a whole bunch of different communities. After testing both Jake and Jimmy Joy/Plenny shake I think I can give you valuable feedback. Conclusion upfront: you are cheaper which is a huge plus in this market IMO but you are loosing in all other categories to Jake. I will structure this review in such a way that I consider the different aspects seperately. Packaging: The packaging you are using to date is not optimal. The colourful print on the package should be abolished. In my opinon the product is all about clean and simple (eating clean and simple). Thus the package design should reflect this by being as minimalistic and clean as feasible. Currently this is clearly not the case. Regarding the portioning: I am aware that the daily rations are due to lower cost than a meal packaging. I think you should consider nevertheless that most customers are eating 3 times a day and it won't always be Jimmy Joy/Plenny shake. The preparation of the drink is cumbersome and the powder spills everywhere. It is much simpler to put a whole package into the shaker. Shaker: The shaker that is currently delivered with the product is too small. The metal ball inside is not suffienciently distributing the powder. I am currently using the Jake shaker to consume your product. Viscosity/Thickness: The product feels watery (no matter how much powder I put in) and I enjoy the thicker, a little pasty viscosity of Jake more. I like the convenience of drinking but I feel more like "having a meal" with jake. I also feel that the irregularity of Jake makes the drink more fun to drink Taste: I have tested all your flavours and find them all sufficient. However I am not that picky regarding the taste of the drink. I have tested Jake Vanilla and also find it tasty enough to drink. Price: As mentioned above you guys are the cheapest in the market right now (in Europe) but I wonder why the whole product is not even cheaper. I think there are strong economies of scale in the market and a lower price could actually decide the market leader for the future. The idea behind such a homogeneous product would be to service a large customer base for a good price, right? The idea behind liquid food is not complicated, a lot of people are creatig their own diy mixes right now. However if a company can become the Kraft foods of liquid food, the "go-to product" in branding it will likely be the market leader and make a lot of money since the production has large economies of scale. I would thus recommend as a general stratoegy to be the least expensive, most convenient and most "no-bullshit" product in the market. j Please come back to me if you want to discuss your product further. I will likely purchase product of this kind in the future and would like to support the upcoming liquid food start-ups in Europe. I would also be ok with "beta" testing new products and give feedback and opinion on them. Best regards Janko Heineken

The taste takes getting used to. The oatmeal flavor (and texture) is very prominent. The free shaker with your first order is a nice touch.

My order suffered partially from strikes at the logistic companies in the Netherlands but also partially because of some sloppy work which caused the package to be rejected several times at the pick-up point. This is the first time in about 6 orders I've experienced this problem.I've been using Jimmy Joy/Plenny shake since it shipped in clear ziplock bags and came in an oil-drenched cardboard box and I've seen the product evolve along the way. What amazed me the most is to see how professional the product looks now as opposed to the clear ziplock bags way at the beginning. The best part is that Joey decided not to let the customer be the one to pay for these improvements. The same affordable price stayed.
