“The mirror assembly was well made and fit properly. I did have to drill out the hole for the locating pin to transfer it from my old broken mirror, though I'm sure that it is not really necessary for the mirror to fit and function. The "gasket" between the mirror assembly and the vehicle as supplied was a much more rigid material than from the original, so I pulled the old one off and it fit right on the new one. One of the mounting bolts was bent slightly as received. It likely would have worked, but I was able to unscrew one of the old ones and it screwed right in to the new assembly. It wasn't hard to install; I didn't have to fully remove the door panel but just get it out of the way.”
“It didn't come with the cover and connector for the lamp on the back of the unit. I had to order one from the dealer to finish the job. My suggestion is to raise the price to cover a complete unit. The car was in a wreck and I didn't have the debris that was a result of the accident so I expected it to be with the lamp. No big deal but time time-consuming.”
“2 spots where the screws would go in came broken. Though I wanted to avoid the hassle of returning the item and waiting for the parts again so we made it work and left the ends unscrewed. As long as the rest of the car was secure.”
“Received them in great shape and was well packed. Haven't installed them because of health problems. They were professional and would use them again as needed.”
“I broke one of my headlights hitting a deer and decided to try to replace both since they are very foggy. Only one side (fortunately the one that was broken) fit, the other would line up with all of the bolt holes. not sure if that was an issue with my vehicle or with the light. The return process for the light that didn't fit was painless.”
