“The strips are fine, but I don't like the excessive amount of packaging. Do the strips really have to be wrapped individually, producing more waste?
The strips that come with my glucose and uric acid meters (from other brands) each come in a single airtight container with a desiccant. Would this be an option for the ketone test strips? I actually reuse the little airtight containers when I paint, so they have a long life and I'm wasting less.”
“Hello, I have bought these strips several times now over 3 years. They are easy to use, very good and reliable. Every time I get a new package (like after 6 months or so) I do a double measurement with the last strip from the old package and the first strip from the new package. So far they have been identical. So: very good. One problem was with the package before last: appr. 15 strips had some kind of production problem so that the blood would not be sucked into the strip but stopped either at the beginning or at the last bit with either no measurement or a wrong (low) measurement. But otherwise: perfect.”
“Great product, good reproducibility, uses a very small amount of blood.
Little caveat if used for research: be cautious when sampling blood, as the slightest dilution with lymph, or another fluid might lead to an error or wrong value.”
