“I do feel that the test strips for the GKI meter are rather expensive. As a result I find myself "rationing" their use, which is not really ideal. I recently responded to an email from Keto-Mojo offering the 60+60 pack for £48 instead of the usual £60. Of course, I jumped at the opportunity - only to find that the email was sent in error. To their credit, after I complained, Keto-Mojo did refund the difference to me. It is a great product, but I would just like to see the prices a bit lower. It seems that, in the UK, the prices of things that originate in the US are set with US salaries and costs in mind so they seem very expensive by UK standards.
Also: The lancets are a ridiculous price too. Fortunately, standard lancets that also fit the lancet device are readily available elsewhere.”
“I had asked customer service for the current expiration dates of the strips since I use them only irregularly. I was told 24 to 25. I received the strips on August 7 with an exp. date of 10-23. So much for accurate inventory management and a minimum of 3 months until expiration.,,
I wanted to return the strips but was offered by customer service to tell them two weeks in advance of the exp. date how many strips I have left for reimbursement of credit for unused strips. I just hope it won't be a hassle.”
“would have liked to do a five star review.I`m very happy with the meter and the strips.It has made such a positive difference to my weight loss journey.The only downside is that each strip is individually wraped .I had the previous meter modell for years.the strips were all together in one small plastic container.I`m not happy about all the waste the new strips produce.The second problem I have is opening the stripps.I find it at times really hard,and often need to find a sissor.that makes it more difficult when travelling.but i will continue using the sticks because they give very good readings and are easy to use.”
