“These work well with the GK+ meter. I had a need to take glucose readings more times than the Ketones to meet my doctor's requirements. This gave me a way to do it at a much lower price than buying them with the ketone strips. The only issue I have, and it is very minor, is that the tear open packaging here is much stronger than the ones in the combination packages. I'm not sure why that is, just that it is.”
“It’s very difficult to open the individually wrapped test strips. I struggle with it each time. I often have to try both sides of each end to finally succeed. Not very friendly packaging.”
“It's a test strip, not much to say except that I curse your team every time I try to open one of those packages. Ive formed a little ritual around it to make it go smoother. You can do better.”
“I appreciate that the strips are less expensive than the old strips (including the ketone strips, BTW), but they are kind of a hassle to open, don't fit in the carrying case very well because of the mesh in the case (they kind of get caught on the mesh), and worst of all, the packaging is definitely not eco-friendly. I also have encountered a few defective strips, which is frustrating. All in all, I liked the old strips better, except for the greater expense. I feel the same about the ketone strips, and for all the same reasons.”
