“I previously used the GK meter and strips but gave it up a couple of years ago because it's so aggravating to open the packets that the strips are in. I understand that the packets help keep the strips fresh, but that doesn't matter if you can't get them open easily enough. I decided to give it another try because I love the meter itself. The packets are still a challenge to open, of course, especially when you have arthritic hands. Yes, I have learned to open the packets in the middle of the long sides, but I have to put a lot of force into it and am always afraid that I'm going to damage the strip in doing so. And as my arthritis progresses, I may not be able to open them at all. Please re-design this packaging!”
