“Last strips I will buy from keto-mojo. Blood glucose measures an average of 15 points high as verified against a known good meter and lab testing. Maybe it is my meter but regardless, the measurements cannot be relied upon.”
“It's difficult to get the test strips out of the foil packaging. I use scissors and sometimes end up damaging the test strip. Can't the strips be packaged in a small canister?”
“I am so disappointed in this product and in the company. I had such high hopes for how it would help me
as I am pre-diabetic trying to turn it around with keto and IF. The glucose monitoring is so wildly inaccurate that it's pretty much unusable. I tested the strips with the liquds.....all good: I bought new strips and have the same issue. I have a Freestyle Libre I've trusted over the years and it has been in the ballpark with a CGM and my lab test levels. This Keto-Mojo however is consistently anywhere from 20 - 30 points above the other monitors. At one point, after a meal with some carbs, my Freestyle said 161 and the KM said 394. With such a poor accuracy rate, I can't trust the GKI reading which is why I bought this product.
To make matters worse, I have reached out to the company twice now, by phone asking if I can return this monitor for another one that may (hopefully) work like it is supposed to or......get my money back for the kit and the boxes of test strips I bought. I have heard NOTHING back from them.
I don't know if I just got a bad monitor or if this is the quality of Keto Mojo and their disinterested customer service. It's not just that it is bad quality but it is unsafe. My glucose could have been dangerously low and this useless item would not register it.”
