“I did not select 5 stars because I have lost strips due to I got an error message from a test strip instead of a test result. So I had to use another strip. The strips are too expensive to waste this way. Other than that, I am quite pleased.”
“Very happy to receive my newest batch of GK+ COMBO Test Strip so quickly. I ordered them when I was in the middle of a 90hr fast and was really pleased I didn’t run out before I got them! I go through quite a few because I like to check the impact of exercise and Circadian rhythm (my glucose goes up when I wake up in the morning), but most of all to ensure my glucose doesn’t get to low. After about 72hrs I often get into the low 50s and when I do I know I need to do something to boost it (lemon juice in my tea does the trick). Thanks for helping me stay safe!”
“I am not happy with the new strips. There is such a wide variation in the results (both glucose & keto) that this testing is just useless. I tested back to back, literally one after another within several minutes, the same finger, poked for blood at the same time, several pokes. Glucose was 140, 295, 91, 117, 195; ketones were 7.5, 1.7, 4.6, 0.7, 4.3, in that order. This happened on multiple occasions, actually, every time I test, so, I have to use multiple strips to get at least a trend. This is crazy! This is a new box. I just hope no one is testing their glucose & dosing Insulin based on the readings. This variability was never an issue with the old keto mojo & old strips (all in one vial). The foil packaging is hard to break & get to the strips, it should at least tear a long way, not across the strips. It used to be a reliable product, don't know what happened to quality & reliability.”
