“I like them! The only thing I don’t like is the it’s hard to open each strip in its new packaging. That was easily remedied by keeping a pair of embroidery scissors with my monitor! I love that all of my numbers are uploaded to the cloud!”
“They are difficult to open, the round case was much better with easy access. Even if you were to have a tear strip it would make it easier to open. This sucks.”
“Getting used to performing the tests was a minor learning curve. Overall I love the ease of use. Amazing to learn exercising causes a temporary glucose spike”
“Great ketone meter. Love the design specially the nice big backlit screen. Minor flaw: Getting the test strips out of their seal package is a bit of a hassle. If you open it too high, is hard to get it out, too low and you run the risk of bending it or damaging it. It’s also a bit hard to tell when the blood is being “sucked in”, specially in the glucose strips which are dark brown. Speaking of the glucose meter part, I noticed that is almost always about 15 to 20 points lower than my other meters (freestyle and lifescan). Quite a bit since I keep my blood glucose between 60-120 and as a T1 diabetic I rely on this numbers quite a lot.”
