After ordering this meter, go to their website and spend some time there. You can get very familiar with your meter before it even arrives, through their amazing short videos and the easy-to-follow guides and Infographics.
When our meter arrived, we already felt like we'd been using it already and, we were able to jump right in and get successful readings. There was a slight learning curve, so I'd suggest practicing with the glucose strips as they are cheaper to replace than the ketone strips. That being said, we have only wasted two glucose strips in the learning/practicing process.
I have tested many times in the past 10 days and feel quite confident using the meter, and with the test results. Its so helpful to see how, what I do and eat throughout the day affects my blood glucose and ketone levels. In the relatively short time since I've had my meter, I have learned so much about glucose, ketones and my health, not only through the meter, but through their website as well.
