“I purchased this meter kit for a couple of reasons. One to be familiar with it to be able to help others who have metabolic syndrome and two, because I really wanted to know how metabolically healthy I am. I have an autoimmune condition and serious gluetn sensitivity that created brain inflammation, neurological issues and several nutrient deficiencies which I have been reversing through diet over the past several years. My fasting blood sugar has been "acceptable" (under 100, typcally 75 - 90 mg/dL) and I am not classified as pre-diabetic. However, I was courious as to how metabolically flexible I really am and wanting to improve my brain and health overall. Keto-Mojo has opened my eyes to possible insulin resistance and not being as metabolically healthy as I could be. “The meter, the strips, and the app all work. The packaging of the strips is quite tough, which is probably for a reason, but it can be a little hard to open and get a strip out.
Maybe I've just been spoiled by Freestyle Precision Neo strips, which I suppose might not need as much protection from rough handling.”
