“First time preaking my fingers for doing such tests. Due to unfamiliarity towards the system, I have to constantly touch the reader so that it will not auto shut.
I have already wasted 2 glucose strips for not taking my reading fast enough before the reader auto shuts.
When the reader has the indicator for you to drop the blood to strip, that is only when the reader will process the strip. If you have drop your blood and the reader auto shuts, you have to use a new strip. The reader will not allow you to continue using the strip that has a little blood on it.
Also, taking readings between strips (glucose and ketone) have to be quick. Otherwise, you have to manually enter your ketone reading to the App. in order for the App calculate the GKI and record them with the rest of the readings.”
“Not really quite sure if it's calibrated and functioning correctly? Obtaining a test value with the solution within range does not mean that it's calibrated.”
