“I cannot use the meter and I have reached out for support. It still does not work after the steps were given via email. I would like to return the whole kit if somebody sees this and could follow-up with me.
Thank you,
Dahna”
“Great way to get started! And now I finally have seen through blood ketone levels that indeed, urine strips, while helpful initially, do have their limitations once one has become "fat-adapted." Within just the first readings, I could see that while the urine test strips said effectively zero ketones were present, I had as much as 1.3 mmol/L. Thanks, KM!”
“This meter is great! Easy to use and I can link everything to my phone. Checks both glucose and ketones and give a GKI reading. I would highly recommend.”
“I hope you will revise the product to be more user friendly - especially for those of us who have made it to our 8th decade of life. I need to use it and would like to be able to rate it higher.
1. The lance device is complicated. I have been testing my blood glucose for 24 years, and the lancet I have used is very simple. I will continue to use it to obtain samples for my KetoMojo meter.
2. The test strips are very hard to open. I have to use scissors. Very inconvenient and potentially dangerous. Putting the notches to one side of the top and bottom instead of in the middle might make strips easier to open.
3. The test strip color coding confused me: In my experience, blue(or teal) is often used for as colors for packaging sugar; shades of caramel or brown are closely associated with high ketone levels. I did not use magnifying or reading glasses to identify the strips, so I thought the meter was defective and complained to Customer support. After several interactions, I realized I had made a mistake, the meter is not faulty - my failure to look very closely and read EVERYTHING was the problem.
4. I will continue to use the Meter until I am more comfortable with maintaining a healthy Nutritional Ketosis.
5. I hope you will revise the product to be more user friendly - especially for those of us who have made it to our 8th decade of life.”
