“I don't like all the packaging on the strips. And not from an environmental thing. I travel a lot for work, so I'm doing this testing mid-day in private...as in on my lap in a bathroom stall somewhere. The extra pieces this now generates is not as manageable as before. I've also ripped a nail off trying to open the strip package. And smaller strips are more difficult to get in the device.
I like the app, but I miss the old one-handed approach. I'm using keto-mojo much less frequently and have pulled my breath-driven device out of retirement.”
“I’m not happy with this meter. I get different ketone readings from different fingers. I test one finger I get 1.0. I test another finger within 1-2 minutes and get .7, which makes this purchase a huge waste of my money. I’m VERY UNHAPPY with this purchase. I’ve tested the meter to be sure it’s working right and it is.”
“I was grateful for the trade-up. I didn't have to dispose of my old meter. I like the gki app for the phone too. The only thing that disappointed me was the individually wrapped strips because they create more trash and they are more difficult to access.”
“Easy to use and can be synchronised with my iPhone. It calculates my GKI. I receive it well pack with all needed pieces. Happy despite the fact that my poking device broke while trying to open it on my first day. Still gave 5 start for the device and carrying case and ease to use. It is also light weight if traveling with it!!!”
