“I thought the meter would automatically upload to the phone. It only seems to work if I manually sync. But I do love that I can sync thru my phone and follow my trends without having to enter every reading. The new meter seems to be better able to capture a reading with less blood than the first one.”
“The meter works great and mailing time was prompt. Unfortunately, I am not a fan of the new packaging for the test strips. Extra waste for every test and the foil packets are challenging to open (and if you use scissors to open them, you risk damaging the strip, which I did a couple of times.) I much prefer the former packaging and am wondering if I should have kept my old monitor a while longer instead of accepting the trade-in offer.”
“I like how the Keto-Mojo Gk+ tracks both glucose and ketones. Also that the app is able automatically compute GKI ratios. The device is compact and lightweight making good for everyday carry. I would have wanted the meter to require lesser blood samples during tests as I am testing both glucose and keytones which makes me squeeze a considerable amount of blood when I test.”
“Impression after using the TRADE-UP+ for over a month: Other than a higher quality device there is no improvement in the performance of function over the previous device, in fact the overall experience has deteriorated; I now have to perform a manual calculation to determine the keto reading in units that I need; I have to have scissors available to extract the test strips from their otherwise inviolate packaging. Give me back the old system ... or it seems that have to get back on the research wagon to find a better alternative.”
“I am still on the fence if I like the new meter or not. I am glad you figured out a way to keep the strips from expiring too soon but I have RA and getting these packages open is difficult. I have to make sure I have a handy pair of scissors around. The other thing is I found the lancet on my old device to be much more user friendly with guides on where to close and open. This lancet seems to be a bit cheaper in quality. Also, I did not get an envelope, box or label to mail my old meter back and there is not contact info.”
