I needed more strips for my old Keto-Mojo meter and found this option available and took advantage, and I'm glad I did. The kit contains a postage-paid envelope to mail off the old meter, so it doesn't hang around as clutter. The new case has semi-soft sides and is big enough to hold everything necessary, vast improvement.
Inside the case everything is redesigned. The lancing device is slightly smaller, the lancets are a bit different, but basically the same. I had trouble adjusting to the new one so went back to the old one, which to my mind made more sense in its operation plus I don't fumble it as often. Size alone may make the difference here, as my fingers are not dainty.
The testing strips are individually wrapped, which solves the problems of freshness and cleanliness. It seems odd but all I have to do is get them ready before I stick my finger, which is the same problem I sometimes had before!
There are two tiny bottles of control solution, things I've never seen before, let alone had in my possession. I haven't tried them yet, but I could if I wanted and that's powerful.
The meter itself is new and shiny and designed differently to accommodate the changes in the testing strips, or so I suppose. It has taken some getting used to, but I've about got it down now, after about ten days of practice. Reading the instructions probably would have helped. The thing that slides the used test strip out of the meter is awkwardly placed, but I've learned to use it.
The app is a great idea. I have been figuring out my own GKI for months and an app to do it for me was a great thing. It also does graphs and I love it. However, it only works for me once or twice then freezes. I delete it and reinstall it and sync the device again, then it's ready for one or two more uses. I've gone back to DIY, with intermittent app usage. It's less annoying! At this point, no word for what might be the problem.”
“I would have given a 5 star but the discharge button on the back is a little awkward to do. I was accustomed to the side discharge button and it seemed to work better. Every other upgrade was spot on!”

“Strips are hard to open. Strips are hard to see the fill line. Strips are not sturdy enough and bend when inserting. Meter sanitary release is in very awkward position. Meter sync is intermittent. Meter strip insertion hole is not in good position.
This meter and the strips are a step back from my previous mojo meter. I already recycled my old meter or I would return this one.”

“Love the whole trade in deal. Awesome meter and love who it can sync to app on phone. Only thing I am very unhappy about it how the strips are stored & individually sealed. Its such a hassle dealing with them now & its what takes the most time when testing. PLEASE consider giving an option to buy them in the cannister again!!!”
