“very happy with the upgraded meter and app. The only thing I wish could be different is if the strips were available in a canister instead of individual tear open packages. I have inflammatory arthritis and it's really hard for me to open each package. I cut them open but then I still have to wrestle the strip out. It's just a thought, don't know if it would be feasible or not. Thanks!”
“This is a very good product overall- and the accompanying material is very helpful to keep a good ketosis and develop awareness. Great brand and support. A few things hinder my review based on daily experiences over 10 days.
Firstly, the device works well except for the blaring design flaw of having the only usable button front and center on the face. This is terribly inconvenient because the button is constantly being pressed and beeping. Any little pressure (even in it’s case) will turn it on and cause it to be noisy and drains the battery. Tried to have in my backpack for a day and it nearly drove me mad.
Secondly- foil packets for test strips are very hard to open. I am a young man with nimble strong hands and have lots of trouble opening the damned things. I can’t imagine an elderly person or someone with low dexterity struggling with these things. A simple “peel here” pre cut into the packet would fix this
3- sharps. I ordered the starter pack which comes with about 70 of each test strip, but only 20 lancets for the whole order. What gives?! How is 20 lancets supposed to last for the entirety of these strips?
Overall this is the best keto tracking app and product as far as data and educational support. Everyday functionality could be greatly improved by the above points.”

As for the new trade up meter, I'm a little on the fence. It's a great product, but I have a very difficult time with the individual packaged strips. I have a condition where my fingertips crack which makes it very difficult to open the packages and takes so much longer. I wonder also how it affects those with arthritis or who have to check their blood several times a day.
Another concern is that the old meter provided an HCT number which I really found helpful. As this new meter is quite a snazzy gadget, is there any way to record the HCT number on the app?”

Another great feature is that it takes your glucose & ketone measures and figures the GKI for you. I have sent back my old keto mojo in the pre-paid envelope.. easy-peasy! Great bundle!”
