“The strips are not so easy to get out of the packaging. I have to keep a pair of scissors nearby to cut the package open. It was much easier to get them out of the canisters.
The eject button for the strips is more difficult to push "up" on, and would be more ergonomically positioned if you could pull down on it instead of push up.
It is nice to not have to purchase a separate tool to sync readings to the app. However, the app is not syncing at all for me right now :-(”
“Was very unhappy with the new mojo. Strips not easy to open. Nothing was wrong with the original one, but you took that option away sadly. So I am getting a partial refund for the unused strips...what a waste this was.”
“It's terrible. I have used your other meter for a long time. This one seems way off and very very different readings than the old one. I know it's more accurate. But if the new one is more accurate then the old one was way way off. For glucose the old KM registered around 91. This new KM registers 124. Ketones for old KM is .7 to 1.2. The new one is .2 to .5. So one says I'm not in ketosis and am in the prediabetic range and the old one says I'm in the OK range. That's a big difference for someone trying to get their health under control. I'm not sure what to believe. Not impressed at all. Makes me question the accuracy and which one is correct. (and if the new one is correct then I have wasted a ton of money on the last one)”
“You are supposed to send the old meter back within 30 days, problem is they didn't send an envelope nor do they answer correspondence on how to obtain one. My guess is I'm about to be overcharged for the new meter once the 30 days is up. Don't have an issue with meter, just service and support for this product.”
“I was disappointed to buy the older device a month prior and lose the ability to order blood glucose strips via Amazon. The pop up ad in the app also implied the older device would be discontinued and no supplies would no longer be made for the older device. I also prefer to have the strips in the small plastic vials. The new packaging is more cumbersome to open I use scissors to cut it open to avoid damage to the strip on the inside. I also had empty packs after cutting them open which is expand frustrating. The new device also seems to lose sync with my phone regularly and requires more work to sync my readings than the older device. I hope that you continue to improve the performance of the app sync and manufacturing of the test strips. I pay for these to check my ketosis as well as my blood glucose for my diabetes. If the service continues on the new path I may have to discontinue using this device and take another frustrating financial hit on what should in my opinion work better than the older system.”
