“I like the meter and the case for it. I HATE the strip packaging. I can’t get it open. I need scissors. I tried to just rip it open today and it bent the strip and I ended up touching the end of it where the blood goes. The other strip wouldn’t come out of the package so I had to get the scissors out. I would rather have something like the round case the old strips came in. Maybe a flat rectangle so it fits in the new carrying case?”
“I love it! This is my third K-M meter. I loved them all The first needed a bluetooth plug. I decided to upgrade to the one with the bluetooth built in. When the GK+ came out I thought it wad too muck money, since my meter wad not too old. They sent an upgrade offer and I took it. The meter is a great improvement. My only negative issue is that the strip packages aren’t the easiest to open.for a 74 year old with some arthritis. I snip them open with scissors but I think they could make the packaging easier to open. Great Meter A+++!”
“The new GK+ meter is nice and it's nice to not need a code key for the ketone strips. However, the individually wrapped test strips us a bug dislike for me. I strongly dislike all the additional waste and getting the strips out if the foil packets is real a pain...so much so that if I wasn't worried about being able to get the old strips long term, I'd consider sticking with the previous model.”

“Had a few issues with the sync with the app which seem resolved. GK+ does read the strip faster than my older meter. Getting the fresh strip out of the package takes some effort-I’ve resorted to scissors to get the packets open.”
