“This is my first ketone blood meter and it is extremely easy to use. I have it synced to the app on my phone so I can easily see history vs scrolling through the device. The price is pretty competitive with other monitors out there. I bought the kit which came with glucose and ketone strips, lancets and the device. I didn’t think I’d used the glucose strips, but I do use it to monitor a specific food impact. Highly recommend!”
“Received the meter and have been using it daily. I find the individual packaging of the strips...well, for me, horrible! Having some issues with my hands, trying to open each packet is more than difficult. There is no indication on the strip package, of which end is which. Not wanting to touch the ends of the strip, I try tearing in the middle, then feel I am working to get it open, AND feeling like I could tear the strip.
I assume any of your clients with Arthritis likely also find these very difficult.
I actually went out and bought a cheap glucose reader, so if needing to do multiple readings I can use their strips. They do not have the ketone strips, but sure makes it easier for repeated use.
I am monitoring, am Not diabetic, so do not need superior accuracy, yet, of course, lots of people use the other meters and find them accurate also.
I will continue to use your product, but really believe you could make life easier by making multiple packs of the strips and trusting users to keep them clean and dry. And of course, maybe this would make the cost of your strips more competitive?”
