“I've only been using my keto mojo for about 3 days now and I'm using it to check my ketones. I'm diabetic and I already have a different glucose meter so it makes it easier to use two meters at once. I was amazed at how much better the lancet device is for the keto mojo compared to my glucose meter. I don't hardly feel the pinch at all. Overall, I think this is an excellent meter. I love the size of the display screen and how easy it is to use. My only complaint is that the strips are packaged separately and I think they are difficult to get out of the package. I wish they would put them in a bottle like my other glucose strips”
“I resent having to pay $72 to replace a meter that went obsolete so soon after my original purchase, which was 98 dollars. I should have received free shipping for the replacement meter. You say your product has a lifetime guarantee but a 72 dollar replacement fee is too high.”
“It seems to work as advertised but there are two apps on iOS, "MyMojoHealth" and "Keto-Mojo (Classic)" It was syncing fine with MMH for a few days and then it just quit and keep reporting errors. I am able to sync with KM now but it looks like MMH is the more recent version.”
“If you want both glucose and ketones in one device this is the choice. The newer meter has individually-wrapped strips, which to me is a must -- because otherwise, as soon as you open the container degradation begins. If you're diabetic you probably don't care because you're poking yourself all the time. If you're not, and using it intermittently, this suddenly matters a great deal.
It works, appears accurate and tells me what I need to know.”
“The design is inferior to the previous meter. The discard button on the back is not convenient and I find it needs both hands to get the sample stick out.”
“Keto-Mojo Founders Club Member here. I've had my new GK+ meter for a week now and I really wish I could have just kept using my original Keto-Mojo meter. Yes, the Bluetooth integration is nice but it is not worth the cost of the reduced functionality of the new meter. The app may improve (I sure hope it does) but it is not yet ready for prime time and behaves like a beta test version (Android 6+). In short, I'd rather have been able to keep using my original meter and just entered my readings to the website manually to track them. I never expected the new meter to be less functional than the old. As to the strips, I do like the new packaging but was very disappointed that while the strips are marketed as having a 24-month shelf life from the date of manufacture, the strips I received were already 10 and 13 months old.”
