“The device arrived broken and I am awaiting a replacement. I like the old meter better. It felt more durable in handling it. I have been unable to use it. But I did try opening one of the test strips and found it difficult to manage. Cutting does not seem to be a good option for fear of damaging the strip. Sorry. I will try again when I get my replacement.”
“I hate that my old strips are not compatible. I also DISLIKE VERY MUCH the packaging of the new strips. They are very difficult to open and get out of the package.
I do like the new style of lancets. I like the old meter and that it has a memory that I can review on the actual machine.”
“My machine does not sync with my phone or accept a manual setting. Support has not really been a help. I have a plus at my daughters home. I also have an original machine for which I cannot purchase strips. I have been using those machines for a long time. I am disappointed that support doesn’t realize that I can recognize a defective machine. I am awaiting the end of the holiday weekend to return it! Sincerely, Susan Krauss”
“So far seems to be working well. I like that the control solution is included. Haven't used the lancet provided because I already have one. Only thing I don't like is the packaging for the test strips. They are hard to get out and it's not recyclable. I feel guilty using them. Would prefer something more environmentally friendly. At least a plastic bottle can be recycled.”
