“Pure Iodine supplement from reputable maker. I'm rather pleased with it. I appreciate that it comes in an amber glass bottle, which should keep the contents shelf stable for longer as it blocks UV light. The pipette is a precised, but simple dosing implement and I've found it easy to drop in precisily two drops as required. The bottle contains only de-ionised water and the iodine itself, so it is pure as possible, I imagine, which is wonderful.
Right. onto the iodine. the NHS states adults require 140micrograms per day as standard. Kik health say that two drops contain 300micrograms per day, which, as they say, is 200^ the RDI.
You could always drop it down to one drop.
It also says you should get most of your iodine needed from food, although that depends of the soil quality and nutrients...hmmm...somewhat suspect most of the nutrients in the soil are spent!
I decided to give it a go and I am happy with the supplement so far, its too early yet to tell if there any quanifiable change to my health but its certainly palatable.
Anyone with thyroid issues or a history of thyroid issues in the family should probably speak to a GP before commencing the supplement.
I'm excited to see if it works well for me as I could certainly do with a pick-you-up at the moment!

“Doctor's happy. My doctor said I needed to take some iodine so I thought I'd try this. I add a drop to one drink a day (as that's the amount she said to take) and she's been happy with my test results, since then so I'm going to say it's a win.
