“In America they consider iodine so important for health, they add it to the ordinary salt sold in supermarkets. I had a feeling I might need more than I had been getting, as I am sometimes reluctant to consume seafood. On the other hand, I find myself swallowing too many supplements. I was therefore delighted to find this liquid form of iodine. I can hardly believe that just taking 2 drops in my morning coffee is enough! AND I am spared the fillers and other additives that can be added to pills, sometimes, I suspect, without any acknowlegment on ad. or bottle.The dropper works perfectly, so no risk of accidentally over-dosing. At this rate of usage the bottle should last me a good long time. At the current price of £17.28 it will need to! If you are sure you want to take iodine long-term, you could economise by choosing "Subscribe & Save".I do think I am feeling a little more energetic since taking these iodine drops, but I take too many other supplements to be sure.”

“I have an underactive thyroid so have to take synthetic hormone to increae the level in my blood. I have read that Iodine is an essential constituent in thyroid hormone production, so I ordered the drops to see whether increasing iodine levels in my blood might help my thyroid out a little with production. I do eat a pretty healthy diet so taking additional iodine may not be necessary for me but it cant do any harm to try.The iodine comes in the familiar brown bottle with the dropper built into the lid. The dropper is made of glass, not plastic like I have seen elsewhere, so this is very much a plus point for me, in addition the bulb of the dropper is very soft and rubbery so its dead easy to dispense the 2 drops that are recommended at a time. The label says to put 2 drops into 250ml of water but I rarely ever use that much (probably a bit less than half that amount), as a result you can really taste the iodine in the water which I really like - must be as it reminds me of peaty whisky. I'll only really find out if using the drops has any effect at my annual check up which is still some time away, but for me its as much of a precaution as an attempt to improve things. At £20 for around a years supply, I reckon the price is well worth it.”
