“Having recently experienced a medical event and having been on a prescription medication for a long term I discovered that magnesium (& potassium) deficiency can be a common link between the two. I am also prone to experience quite painful leg cramps particularly at night. Most supplements are in the form of pretty large capsules this however is an easily taken liquid in a bottle with an eye dropper to measure the recommended dosage. Using this appears to stop or at least drastically prevent the leg cramps mentioned above.”
“KIKI Health is a UK manufacturer of supplements and all products are created to a high standard. The Amazon page is beautifully presented. I love being able to take magnesium in this liquid form. It's highly bioavailable and pure.”
“Great liquid magnesium supplement. The difference in taking a capsule vs liquid supplement is noticeable and I'm enjoying this as part of my morning routine. Good quality formula and easy to take with water.”
“This is from a prestigious, established, well-known (& expensive) brand sold in l major health stores. They usually sell high quality supplements & I trusted this would be too.But I'm surprised you have to put 30 drops in water/juice & even at that amount, only provides 32% RDA (about 180g as opposed to 360-400g) of magnesium. So what's the point? I need to get the full RDA to get any benefit from it?Also, it tastes quite horrible & I couldn't stand the taste even diluted in juice.Even though it has bioavailability & good credentials, I'd pass this one, especially at this price.”
“I'm actually annoyed with myself for not checking more thoroughly before buying the product. It is very expensive, yet only contains 25x servings of 32% of the RDA of magnesium. So go get your full daily requirement would work out at £3 per day, making this probably the most expensive supplement I've ever bought, despite the cheap ingredients.”
“Personally, I trust KIKI Health to produce top quality supplements, and so far they've all been UK manufactured too. This magnesium supplement is no exception.Do be aware however that the recommended dose is 30 drops daily / 2ml for adults & children. So although it's a moderate size of bottle, there's only 25 full servings in it.A common test for magnesium deficiency is to put a few drops of ionic magnesium on the tongue. If it is tasteless, then you're deficient. If it has a strong taste then you're most likely not deficient. Personally I put a few drops on my tongue and got the salty taste that I would expect from magnesium, so I'm likely not deficient, and hence a few drops daily will likely suffice for me.The ionic magnesium is supplied in a quality dark glass jar with a glass dropper.”
“I’ve been trying out this magnesium supplement from KIKI Health, it’s their Ionic Magnesium Liquid Concentrate. It comes in a little glass bottle with a dropper, which I appreciate because it feels a bit more eco-friendly and you can easily control how much you take. Basically, it's magnesium in a liquid form that's meant to be really easily absorbed by your body. They call it “ionic” which, as far as I understand, means the magnesium is in a form that your cells can use directly, without having to break it down first. This is supposed to help with things like energy levels, sleep, muscle function, and even bone health. The company says it supports normal body functions by helping to maintain a balance of minerals in your body. They explain that magnesium is involved in loads of processes, like over 300 enzyme reactions and keeping levels of other minerals like calcium, potassium and sodium in check. It’s also meant to help with your immune system, muscle relaxation, and even tissue growth. They also mention it helps with calcium transport and how it’s deposited into your bones, which is good for bone health. The bottle says it's made with all-natural ingredients and has no artificial preservatives or colours, which is a huge plus for me.I've been adding a few drops to my water every morning. I tried it straight once, and it was pretty intense – definitely makes your eyes water! But mixed in water, you can't really taste it. I like being able to adjust the dose depending on how I’m feeling and what other supplements I’m taking. Since I started using it, I've noticed I've been sleeping a little better, and my muscles don't feel quite as tight after workouts. It's not a dramatic change, but it's definitely noticeable. It's convenient to use, just a few drops in some water, and the fact that the bottle is glass and recyclable gets the company bonus points! The features I really like are that it's a liquid concentrate, it's ionic for better absorption, it's in a glass dropper bottle for easy dosing and it’s made with natural ingredients.”
“I was initially drawn to this supplement due to its focus on replenishing essential magnesium in a highly bioavailable form. With a strong interest in optimising health and well-being, I am always exploring innovative solutions to address modern-day challenges like soil depletion and nutrient deficiencies.Magnesium is an essential mineral involved in over 300 enzymatic reactions within the body, so ensuring its adequate intake is crucial for optimal functioning. My goal in trying this supplement was to enhance hydration, support relaxation, and improve overall mineral status, given its purported benefits for energy, muscle function, and sleep. This supplement’s key feature lies in its utilisation of ionic magnesium—a form that is 100% bioavailable and ready for cellular absorption without requiring digestion. Ionic minerals are essential for maintaining the body’s intricate balance of electrolytes, directly impacting hydration, nerve function, and muscle relaxation. On a molecular level, magnesium regulates calcium transport, promotes tissue repair, and aids in intracellular electrolyte balance. By maintaining proper levels of calcium, potassium, and sodium, this supplement supports skeletal health and ensures smooth cellular processes.Comparatively, ionic magnesium surpasses traditional forms like magnesium oxide or citrate in terms of absorption rates and bioavailability. Clinical research underscores that ionic forms bypass common digestive issues, making them suitable for those with sensitive stomachs. Studies also highlight magnesium’s role in reducing inflammation, supporting cardiovascular health, and promoting restful sleep. This form of supplementation ensures targeted delivery, avoiding the inefficiencies often associated with tablet or capsule formats. My choice of this product was influenced by its minimalist composition—devoid of artificial colours and preservatives—and its compatibility with vegan diets. The liquid format was particularly appealing for its ease of use and precise dosage control. Following the manufacturer’s guidance, I mixed the drops with deionised water daily, finding this method both convenient and effective for incorporating the supplement into my routine. After consistent use, I noticed significant improvements in hydration levels, as evidenced by enhanced energy and reduced muscle cramps. The supplement also promoted a profound sense of relaxation, aiding in restful sleep and reducing stress. These effects align with magnesium’s scientifically proven ability to regulate neurotransmitters and reduce cortisol levels. The supplement’s additional highlights include its suitability for a range of dietary preferences, including vegan and gluten-free diets. Modern agricultural practices often lead to magnesium-depleted soils, making supplementation increasingly vital. This product addresses that gap effectively, supporting individuals with active lifestyles, stress-related mineral depletion, or specific dietary restrictions. The recommended dosage is straightforward, and the liquid format simplifies absorption, eliminating the need for digestion. While I experienced no side effects, individuals sensitive to magnesium may wish to start with a lower dose. Taking the supplement with water during or after meals seemed to enhance its effectiveness. At its current price of £17.28, this supplement offers excellent value for its quality and versatility. Its precise dosing, coupled with scientifically supported benefits, makes it a worthwhile investment in overall health and well-being. The compact 50ml packaging is convenient for travel and ensures a lasting supply.Fun fact: Magnesium has been used since ancient times to soothe muscle aches and improve relaxation. The name "magnesium" originates from the Greek region of Magnesia, where the mineral was first discovered in its natural form.In conclusion, I highly recommend this supplement for anyone seeking a reliable, bioavailable magnesium source to support hydration, relaxation, and overall health. I hope this review has been helpful and inspires confidence in exploring the benefits of this essential mineral.”
