“Wow - I didn't know what to expect from this thermometer but I have been truly impressed!
I've been using the thermometer for a few weeks and I'm loving it so much!! It was so quick and easy to take my children's temperatures. I felt like the thermometer was super accurate and reliable which gave me so much peace of mind.
I also really love the app - my kids LOVED getting to choose their own little avatars and we made one for each person in the family. It's SUPER easy to use. I love that it keeps a record of temperatures so that we can keep track of what each person's normal range is. It also is so helpful if someone does get sick because I can tell the pediatrician exactly what the temps were and for how long—I always have trouble remembering these things when I'm already anxious about my kiddo being sick. So being able to easily pull up that information is amazing. I will say though, I like that the thermometer is totally usable even without the app. Of course you miss out on all the features without the app, but it's nice that it isn't required to be able to take temperatures.
I'm super grateful that it's easy to clean and doesn't require ear covers like another brand I had. It was getting really cumbersome constantly having to replace covers, especially when someone was sick and I had to check their temperature often. So this one being so simple and easy to clean is amazing. Overall, I totally love this thermometer!

“I use a lot of smart products and this was one of the easiest to set up and offers such a clear and meaningful value proposition! Two key benefits that stood out to me as to why I would go with Kinsa over other thermometers are:
1) Get immediate custom advice - really easy to set up a profile (without giving a bunch of personal data) and assign each reading to a person. It then asks you a couple of quick questions about symptoms and gives a suggestion on whether to: do nothing, call dr, call dr now or ER. They use age and the info you give them to make these and have nurses check-in later if serious symptoms occurred. When you have a sick kid the last thing you want to do is spend 20 minutes googling symptoms and agonizing about what to do - I love how simple this makes it!
2) Get alerts about outbreaks in your area - COVID has obviously made us more sensitive to this but this is an obviously useful feature that I would not have known to want, but love now! Because Kinsa has data about high temperature and others symptoms they can notify you if there are outbreaks in your area which greatly increases speed to correct diagnosis.

“First I want to thank the Stellar Product Testing Panel for sending me this thermometer in exchange for my honest review! Where has this thermometer been hiding? I LOVE this thing! It reads so quickly! Once you put it in the ear and push the button you get a reading before you can even say "Thermometer". It is crazy how fast it is! The app is very helpful and easy to use as well. You can create a profile for each family member and the app records every temperature. You can also add in medications so that you never have to wonder when the next dose is due again! The app will even remind you when it's time for the next dose of medicine. The app also will ask and record any symptoms as well as advise when to reach out to the doctor. I love that the app and thermometer makes it so easy to take care of your sick child but especially in the middle of the night when you are half asleep! The fact that it tracks the temperature and time without me having to input it is my favorite feature. The speed of the temperature read is also very convenient for kids! The reading is very accurate and reliable as well. I cannot recommend this thermometer and this brand enough! This really is the best Thermometer I have ever used!”
“I received this ear thermometer from the Stellar Product Testing Panel. I was expecting it to take awhile to get the thermometer connected to the app on my phone but I was wrong. It was super easy to do.
The thermometer seemed to take temperatures very quickly and accurately. I set up profiles for myself and my 5 year old daughter. You have the option to save a temperature to each profile, so if there is more than one child that's sick, you can keep track of each kiddos temperature separately. I can see this being a huge benefit when you're sleep deprived and trying to keep track of which child needs medication and the presence of a fever (or not, hopefully!). Overall, I'd recommend this thermometer to all parents - it seemed to work quickly and well.
I do wish the thermometer had different options - to take temp in the ear, on the forehead, etc.”
“Wow this thermometer is fast! We have another brand ear thermometer that isn't as fast or accurate. I am impressed with how accurate this thermometer is - it remains within a .3 margin when taking my daughter's temperature. The app uploaded the temperature immediately - it is a quick, clean app that is easy to read and use. I love the history piece of the App- it gives me such a piece of mind to see my daughter's resting temperature and compare it to any anomaly. “The Kinsa Smart Ear Thermometer is very easy to use and provides quick readings. Where some digital thermometers take a few seconds, this one pops up with my daughter's temperature in less time than the others. This means less time for her to get upset about having something in her ear and having her temperature taken.
The app is very straightforward and helps to provide insight based on the temperature. At one point my daughter's temperature had registered as a low temperature and the app advised what this could mean and when to be concerned. This definitely had to be my favorite part of the app, hands down.
I appreciated how consistent the temperature feedback was between readings. Some of the ones I have had recently advised taking three separate readings in order to get an average temperature. However, this thermometer provided the same readings consistently and left me feeling a lot more confident and at ease with what I was seeing.

“I've been searching for an easy-to-use digital thermometer for ages. I'm so happy to have received the Kinsa Smart Ear Thermometer through the Steller Product Testing Panel.
This thermometer was super simple to set up. I got it up and running within a couple of minutes of opening the package. It even came with batteries, which is always a plus!
The app is incredibly user friendly. I enjoyed the customization options and the bright and cute characters. I love that it allows me to access important information about sickness outbreaks near me, as well as track my own family members' health information.

“I am really loving the Kinsa Smart Ear Thermometer so far! Past thermometers I've used have given inconsistent readings even when taken back to back, but the Kinsa was consistent each time. Thankfully my family hasn't been sick recently, but I've still checked all 4 of our temperatures a couple times just to play around. The reading remained consistent with each family member even when repeated multiple times. I also really appreciated that we didn't need to purchase applicator tips like other ear thermometers I've used in the past. I really like that we can each make our own personalized profile on the app and choose which profile to add each reading too. The app and thermometer are both very user friendly and easy to navigate.
