“My 3 cats seem to have transitioned from their old plastic cat boxes without issue, I guess as long as it's clean and smells clean they are happy to stink it up! Only issue we have is our 22yr old cat likes to hop inside and then back her "backside" out and do her business outside the box. But that is on us and not Kitty Poo...only thing is it saturates the underside of the box, the "lid" that is placed under the box, which does not have the same sealant as the inside bottom of the box does. But again this is on us and our 22yr cat that does it her way. Puppy pads help. Overall you have 3 Paws up from this house. Thanks!”
“So, honestly I was surprised that the cardboard box itself didn't soak through over an entire month's time. However, I used the *clay litter* and I ended up having to run to PetSmart before the month was over to buy more litter. So that was a downside and why I knocked off a star. But it is really nice to just throw the whole box in the trash when it's time for a new box. I was also worried about the possibility of the box smelling bad before the month's end, but it actually held all the scent in. So, the box itself is fantastic! But I recommend not getting the clay litter. I'm about to try the silica litter to see if that one works better.”
“The waterproof coating on the box seals in the wet and keeps it easy to scoop all month long. Even when it is time to change out the box when the new delivery arrives, it is still in great shape! The sides are high enough that they catch flinging litter. Our cats have two boxes and I was so pleased I could "customize" the box to create a side entry flap and use it inside my litter-box-hider-cabinet upstairs as well!”
