“I have a litter box hideaway piece of furniture and need the option to have the "front" of this box on a short end. I've ordered the standard box in my second shipment and it is barely too wide to close the door on my hideaway also. I've tried the diatomite and the large silica litter...the diatomite tracks EVERYWHERE. The silica is much less tracking (also bought the litter mat) but I have a cat that is basically refusing to use it. I am going to keep trying the different litters until both cats are happy. This truly is a great product and service...just may have to trial and error with the products until your particular cats are happy.”

“The XL litter box is okay, but I would not recommend the diatomite litter to anyone. My cats tracked this litter all over our apartment and it was extra noticeable on the wood floor because it's bright white. It also didn't control odor as well as the litter we normally use (Arm & Hammer Clump & Seal). The size of the XL litter box itself though is very nice. I have a 20+ pound cat and he was able to get in and out of this litter box easily, even with the perforated entrance still intact. Despite all that, I think you can get more than 30 days of use out of the cardboard litter box alone, especially if you only have one cat.”
