“I wish this was longer and wider and taller than it is. I tried the box and I like the convenience of not having to scrub out a plastic box because I am in an apartment with a shower stall and it's not the best for washing out a cat pan. The disposable box is a great alternative, but when you have a large male cat, you need something larger. I was actually using a 18 Gallon vinyl tote with a doorway cut into the end. That worked, but it absorbs the urine odor. Please let me know when you come up with a bigger box and maybe I'll be back. In the meantime, it's back to the tote because my big dude makes a hell of a mess with the litter all over the place even with the dome. I have to vacuum every day with this box.”
“I am enjoying the disposal and recycling aspect of this subscription. My big male would like a box just a little bigger though. We truly appreciate the fresher air in our laundry room, there is a big difference!! Thank you”
“This box has been great! My cat is older and needs the high sides. Other then the fact that she shred's the sides, I'm still ok with it. What I'm not ok with is the dust from the fine grain. After a few weeks, I noticed I was coughing more then usual (I'm asthmatic). Turns out it is not a good thing to be breathing silica dust. Especially if you already have lung issues. Mind you, this is just the fine grain I'm talking about. I haven't tried the other options. Also, as I see in other reviews, the bottom is getting wet and I'm having to change it out every 2-3 weeks. I am also using a pad under the box just in case.”
“We purchased this litter box to replace the plastic one our cats were using. Because they're heavy drinkers (they just love water so much) that they go to the bathroom several times a day and this litter box is great for them. Every 3 weeks, I used to have to clean the plastic box each time before putting new crystals in and that was a pain especially since the box was a huge one (our cats love space) & that's not a problem anymore. I just dump the used crystal into a garbage bag and the litter box in the recycling bin. When I'm disposing of the box, I just take off the plastic slides for the flaps, toss them inside the box then fold it and put the lid on & it stays close. Also, I've found when I take the plastic tabs off, I can slide the box inside a garbage bag easily to dump the used crystals so no dust! Overall, the cost of the box is pretty on par if you consider having to get a cleaner for the plastic one & those spray-on cleaners are probably a good one or two uses then I'd have to buy a new one. I can't wait for the longer/wider version of this litter box since our cats are long (Balinese & Oriental Short Hair) so the extra width may be good for them.”
“This is just too small for normal a average sized cats. For kittens it would be fine. The box doesn’t fold up easily to dispose, after having used it open the flaps keep pushing on the lid so I had to tape it shut. Tape is not biodegradable. Since the amount of litter sent with my soy boxes was way too small, I used both boxes in one litter tray over the course of a few days. I refilled another empty kpc box with clay litter and immediately the clumps stuck to the bottom of the box. I would try again if a bigger and deeper box was made. Most litters need a depth of a few inches to catch urine and that’s not possible in these tiny boxes. I cannot recommend.”
“We recently moved from Ohio to Florida. We drove with a two day stop in Georgia. The Kitty Poo Litter Box was the answer to our dilemma. How do you travel interstate with a cat? When we stopped for gas, we would park for a bit and unfold the Kitty Poo box. Our cat, Lily, would use the box, get a drink and a snack, and we drove on! The box folded back up for easy transport to the next stop. While staying at my sister's house in Georgia, the box was not only handy, but already familiar to Lily. NO ACCIDENTS! Great product for everyday use also. Highly recommended!”
“I am very satisfied with the Kittypoo Club, but my only complaint is that the new boxes seem to get wet on the bottom. I even tried putting a pee pad between the box and lid, still leaks, even changing my delivery to every 3 weeks instead of 4, still have a wet bottom box.”
