Excellent litter box program. The XL is perfect for two cats and lasts four weeks. The soy litter is flushable, making cleaning the box a breeze. Love this product and program! So convenient and cost-effective.

Now that I have received my second litter box I wanted to say how much I love this method of disposing of my kitties' "poo"!! Being a fairly new cat owner, I have tried several different options for kitty litter with varied success. I've been using pellets the last 6 months because it's not as messy and I have 2 wonderful but very messy cats! The thing I hate is to clean and refill a plastic, large litter box which is necessary to accommodate 2 kitties. An automatic litter box for poo removal is expensive and still requires a timely cleaning process. So, a disposable litter box made sense! I decided to try it out with the soy pellet litter. I LOVE it! The set up is cleaner with less odor and the stray pellets, which are inevitable, are easily vacuumed up with my portable stick vacuum. I did find that I need an extra package of litter to supplement the 2 packages that come with the large litter box system in order to maintain enough litter over a 4 week period for 2 cats. I just finished replacing the old litter box and found the used box to easily fit in a large garbage bag with no mess!! It took me less than half the time I was spending to clean, dry, and replace litter with the other system. It may be a little more costly using the disposable system but the time I save makes it more than worth it because I work full time and my time is valuable too! This is a great system for providing a perfect option for my kitties' poo!

The effectiveness of the box lasts 2 months for my cats, a 15 lb male & 7 lb female. I do have to redesign the box entry for the litter box furniture, but not a problem. The organic soy litter we are getting use to - it is amazing how there is no offensive odor. I have been using a thin layer of regular granular litter to get my cats use to it & they have accepted the soy litter. The only issue I have is filtering the cat waste from the soy litter, I seem to waste alot of litter. I do use the special litter scoop that KPC sells. But I usually have to order extra organic litter bags before the box needs changing. Overall, very good products.

I started using the soy litter to see if it would not cause as much scattering of litter as the diamotite litter. It does cause less scattering, however, the clumping nature of this litter led to a lot more maintenance on my part to remove all the waste from our cats (urine and solid waste). With the diatomite I was only having to remove solid waste. Prefer the diatomite but wish it was available in a larger pebble size.

My thee boys and I love the XL boxes. The fact they come with two bags of litter is great. Two XL boxes are a little more expensive than four of the regular ones, but it’s worth it because the boxes aren’t twice as big as the regular ones, which makes the litter level deeper, which helps the urine clump up vs running all over the bottom of the box. Plus, it’s nice only cleaning two vs four.

I am pleased KPC finally offered the larger litter box. The only reason for 4 instead of 5 stars is that the price difference is difficult to justify. At $56, the XL box comes with two bags of litter and if, like me, you need two litter boxes, the per-shipment cost is pretty steep. To try to alleviate the price pain, I stretched the delivery to every 8 weeks but that was too long without a litter change. Then I tried adding an extra bag of litter to freshen the boxes in-between. It helped a little, but added to the per-shipment cost. Truly, $145 every 8 weeks does not justify the convenience of the disposable litter box and I may have to return to traditional solutions for a quarter of the cost.
