“My thee boys and I love the XL boxes. The fact they come with two bags of litter is great. Two XL boxes are a little more expensive than four of the regular ones, but it’s worth it because the boxes aren’t twice as big as the regular ones, which makes the litter level deeper, which helps the urine clump up vs running all over the bottom of the box. Plus, it’s nice only cleaning two vs four.”
“I am pleased KPC finally offered the larger litter box. The only reason for 4 instead of 5 stars is that the price difference is difficult to justify. At $56, the XL box comes with two bags of litter and if, like me, you need two litter boxes, the per-shipment cost is pretty steep. To try to alleviate the price pain, I stretched the delivery to every 8 weeks but that was too long without a litter change. Then I tried adding an extra bag of litter to freshen the boxes in-between. It helped a little, but added to the per-shipment cost. Truly, $145 every 8 weeks does not justify the convenience of the disposable litter box and I may have to return to traditional solutions for a quarter of the cost.”
“I tried the soy litter in place of the silica I’ve used for some time. odor control is still good with the organic soy. The soyclumping is kinda messy. It’s “flushable” but one scoop plugged up my toilet and there wasn’t a big difference for me on tracking. i’m going back to silica.”
“First off I really dislike cleaning and disinfecting the litter box. So getting a fresh box every month is amazing. And the soy litter is perfect. No dust, tiny amount of tracking and easy to scoop.”
