Every Le Chameau boot is constructed by one Maîtres Bottier. In order to become a Maîtres Bottier it takes 9 months of training before they are permitted to construct their first rubber boot.

“I have particularly slim calves and ankles which is why I chose these slim fitting wellies but they were too difficult for me to slip on and off. The fitting is nice and slim when on but they are thinner rubber than my Aigles and so kind of scrunched up when putting your foot in ! and then a real struggle to get off. If your only wearing them on the odd occasion then that's fine but I live in mine and need a quick on and off as I jump from indoors to out all day. I will wait until I can splash out on the leather lined ones perhaps. The delivery was quick, and the returns/refund super efficient so thank you for that.”

“I would love to review my purchase but unfortunately it still has not arrived. Parcel force have failed to deliver them over the last 5 days. Le Chameau customer service has been great and trying to sort the matter out. Hopefully soon I will have my new boots and they will be great!”

“Beautiful wellies, I really liked them. The feminine fit was unfortunately rather snug to my calf’s which was fine but isn’t as comfortable as I require and I have returned them… within days I had a refund! Great service there thank for that. I am going to order the Vierzon neoprene in the mens boot so hopefully they will be just the ticket!”

“Far too narrow in the calf sadly, the vacuum makes it hard to get off and they sit strangely on the leg making a chunkier knee bulge out! Returned disappointed unfortunately! But le chameau had great communication!”
