Every Le Chameau boot is constructed by one Maîtres Bottier. In order to become a Maîtres Bottier it takes 9 months of training before they are permitted to construct their first rubber boot.

“Nice to look at, didnt like how wobbly they are and they flop over. Was worried the rubber would vrack on the wrinkles when on over time. And not as comfortable as i thought for the price. Sent back and waiting refund.”

“The boots were very disappointing and flimsy for the price. They felt very insubstantial. I sent them straight back. I fear that Le Chameau boots are living on their reputation and that the quality has greatly diminished.”

“Wonderful wellies! Worth every penny as I wear them most of the winter (and a lot of the summer). They're hard-wearing and extremely comfortable. I'm usually a size 39 but bought a 40 and that gives me a really good fit.”

“Sadly, although I absolutely love the boot itself I have had to send them back as they are far too tight on my left calve. Due to an injury a number of years ago I have to source wellingtons that are more forgiving on the calf, these just simply aren't comfortable and have no give in them.”
