Every Le Chameau boot is constructed by one Maîtres Bottier. In order to become a Maîtres Bottier it takes 9 months of training before they are permitted to construct their first rubber boot.

“Boots v good quality and nice to look at. Eventually took the plunge but it doesn’t matter what size or model I tried with the brand I have an issue with them being tight across the top of my foot. It was obviously noticeable until I went on a 2 mile walk. I have high arches and do not find them comfortable at all, I would usually buy a 5.5 but had to size up to a 6. Sizing up also meant they were ever so slightly too big. I do not have wide feet and they were V tight. I would not recommend for people with high arches and do feet.”

“Very comfortable, they fit like a glove, will be wearing daily , bought the bundle, boot bag comes in very handy to store the boots away (from my Labrador puppy, who loves rubber shoes !!! ) and to store the cleaning kit & boot jack.”

How comfortable are your boots?

“My last pair of these wellies sprung a leak after 11 years of almost daily usage so without hesitation I have bought them again. I have gone for the darker green colour this time and I love the colour. My new boots appear to be of exactly the same high quality and are instantly comfortable just like my last pair were. They are expensive boots but worth every penny, I have never had cold feet in them even in the depths of winter. They look good too. I wouldn’t buy anything else now. Definitely recommend.”
