Le Chameau are the only rubber boots to be handmade by a single master bootmaker, each pair is unique. Using the highest quality materials and with a range of iconic and innovative styles, Le Chameau Maîtres Bottiers have been making our boots by hand for over 90 years. Every Le Chameau boot is constructed by one Maîtres Bottier. In order to become a Maîtres Bottier it takes 9 months of training before they are permitted to construct their first rubber boot.

“My last set of Chasseur boots have lasted me 20 year and are still going, other than the inside feels less supportive than my new replacement pair. My husband purchased the 1st pair, knowing the benefit of good boots. I would rather have spent the money on a handbag!! Now 20 years later, I have replaced them myself, forget the handbag.”
