Using the highest quality materials and with a range of iconic and innovative styles, Le Chameau Maîtres Bottiers have been making our boots by hand for over 90 years. Every Le Chameau boot is constructed by one Maîtres Bottier. In order to become a Maîtres Bottier it takes 9 months of training before they are permitted to construct their first rubber boot.

“At last a wellington boot that will fit my calf size.Don’t care they are the mens! Ordered wrong fit at first and the speed and efficiency this was rectified 24 hrs. Great service. Totally recommend.”

“I have had several pairs of these boots over the years. They are extremely comfortable and excellent if they are waterproof. Sadly, these boots were letting in the water straight from the box (as were their predecessors). I have had issues in the past with the zip leaking within the warranty period. When I have had a pair that remained waterproof for years they have been excellent boots. This does seem to be a weak point in the design and there is clearly an ongoing issue with quality control. Customer service was however very helpful and I hope to have the issue resolved under warranty.”

“Excellent product. It’s a very high price to pay and I was disappointed not to get the 10% first order discount but I’m very happy with the wellies. Top quality and will last me a long time.”

“Over the moon that I am finally able to wear a pair of wellies. Having large calves for all my adult life I have never been able to find a pair to fit me. Had to buy mens still though as female calf sizes still aren’t large enough”
