Le Chameau are the only rubber boots to be handmade by a single master bootmaker, each pair is unique. Using the highest quality materials and with a range of iconic and innovative styles, Le Chameau Maîtres Bottiers have been making our boots by hand for over 90 years. Every Le Chameau boot is constructed by one Maîtres Bottier. In order to become a Maîtres Bottier it takes 9 months of training before they are permitted to construct their first rubber boot.

“I purchased the product from the US website and had a few issues using the site. The site apparently contains descriptions of older products and the new products are not identical. As an example, the website indicates that the Chausser boots have removable insoles but apparently the newer version of these boots do not.”
