Using the highest quality materials and with a range of iconic and innovative styles, Le Chameau Maîtres Bottiers have been making our boots by hand for over 90 years. Every Le Chameau boot is constructed by one Maîtres Bottier. In order to become a Maîtres Bottier it takes 9 months of training before they are permitted to construct their first rubber boot.

“I’ve tried many other makes nothing is as comfortable, lightweight & sturdy enough to be worn all day everyday in disinfectant for 2yrs !! Le Chameau are the only wellies I will ever buy - I buy mens coz they are wider in the calf measurements womens are too narrow for me”
