Every Le Chameau boot is constructed by one Maîtres Bottier. In order to become a Maîtres Bottier it takes 9 months of training before they are permitted to construct their first rubber boot.

“I ordered a pair of Men's Vierzonord Neoprene Lined Boots on the 29th November 2019. The Le Chameau website stated to allow 2-3 days for delivery, which meant it had to be delivered to my place of work on the Monday.Had confirmation it will be delivered Monday 2nd. I then received a message on the Saturday the 30th with a delivery slot for the Saturday afternoon. I requested for it to be changed to the Monday and had confirmation that this was ok. From that day it has been a complete nightmare. Cancellation on cancellation on cancellation.. I lodged a complaint on the 5th December 2019 and cancelled the order on the 6th December 2019. I have not had any reply from Le Chameau to date. I will also be submitting this correspondence to Governments Consumer Rights Section. Le Chameau has no regard for their customers and I will go out of my way to make sure the general public knows this.”
