Le Chameau are the only rubber boots to be handmade by a single master bootmaker, each pair is unique. Using the highest quality materials and with a range of iconic and innovative styles, Le Chameau Maîtres Bottiers have been making our boots by hand for over 90 years. Every Le Chameau boot is constructed by one Maîtres Bottier. In order to become a Maîtres Bottier it takes 9 months of training before they are permitted to construct their first rubber boot.

“My previous pair of Le Chameau Farm Boots have lasted well over ten years and are still in use today but unfortunately have split just above the ankle so I can't tackle any deep puddles. Despite daily use during the winter months the Michelin sole is still showing little sign of wear. This new pair are instantly comfortable and look to be as well constructed as my old pair so I'm looking forward to many more years of comfortable and warm years of walking with my new dog.”

“I've had these boots for a few months now. I walk between two to five miles a day every day so they've clocked up quite a few miles now. They have been faultless in every environment from snow and ice through wet and waterlogged to sunny warm days. The lining inside the boot is still firmly in place and the soles are still like new. This is my first pair of boots from le Chameau after trying so many other boot manufacturers. I'm sold, these boots are well worth it. Also on a side note the delivery was so fast that the boots had arrived before the parcel tracking could be activated.”

“Just buy them! For years I've bought 'cheap and cheerful' wellies, having to replace them every 6-12 months, whilst my better half continues wearing her Le Chameau's, and I can't recall when she last changed them. So the false economy penny dropped and I took the plunge, so glad I did. I'm a dog walker, and they get put through their paces in muddy fields, key highlights: 100% waterproof, no water ingress at all. They fit perfectly, including up around the calf, so no 'flapping' when walking at pace. They are the nearest thing comfort wise to my walking boots, they just don't feel like wellies.”

“Amazingly quick delivery, very comfortable to wear. If they last the same length of time as my last pair that was made in 2012 and have just given up the ghost I will not be complaining.”
