Le Chameau are the only rubber boots to be handmade by a single master bootmaker, each pair is unique. Using the highest quality materials and with a range of iconic and innovative styles, Le Chameau Maîtres Bottiers have been making our boots by hand for over 90 years. Every Le Chameau boot is constructed by one Maîtres Bottier. In order to become a Maîtres Bottier it takes 9 months of training before they are permitted to construct their first rubber boot.

“They're not as good as they used to be, but if I can get more than 12 months out of them and have dry feet, that's a result. Very comfy as do a lot of walking, but they tug my socks down quickly with the new rubber heel pieces.”
