Using the highest quality materials and with a range of iconic and innovative styles, Le Chameau Maîtres Bottiers have been making our boots by hand for over 90 years. Every Le Chameau boot is constructed by one Maîtres Bottier. In order to become a Maîtres Bottier it takes 9 months of training before they are permitted to construct their first rubber boot.

“Probably to 4th time I pulled them on, the loop at the back snapped and is now flapping about. Having read about Chameau’s customer service online recently, I can’t be bothered to replace them. These will probably be my last pair. As wellies, my feet are dry. It’s a shame they broke so soon but their function isn’t affected. UPDATE. I was contacted by customer services who swiftly sorted a collection and replacement for me - restoring my faith in their after-sales service. It’s a shame they broke but I have new ones now and hopefully - they will fare better.”
