Le Chameau are the only rubber boots to be handmade by a single master bootmaker, each pair is unique. Using the highest quality materials and with a range of iconic and innovative styles, Le Chameau Maîtres Bottiers have been making our boots by hand for over 90 years. Every Le Chameau boot is constructed by one Maîtres Bottier. In order to become a Maîtres Bottier it takes 9 months of training before they are permitted to construct their first rubber boot.

“I had to buy these in jersey lined. Would have preferred a neoprene lining but not available. Otherwise great.”

I am so sorry that we had no more of the style that you were hoping to find! I hope that you enjoy the boots (albeit with thicker socks than you hoped) and that you enjoy them into the warmer months with their lighter lining.

“My husband has the 'full length' version of these excellent boots and wanted a shorter, easy-on boot for gardening and dog walking. Although he hasn't had them yet (they are a birthday present) I have every confidence that will meet the usual Le Chameau, standards of design and quality. A real 'Le Chameua' enthusiast, he keeps another pair - of Vierzonords - for shooting.”
