Le Chameau are the only rubber boots to be handmade by a single master bootmaker, each pair is unique. Using the highest quality materials and with a range of iconic and innovative styles, Le Chameau Maîtres Bottiers have been making our boots by hand for over 90 years. Every Le Chameau boot is constructed by one Maîtres Bottier. In order to become a Maîtres Bottier it takes 9 months of training before they are permitted to construct their first rubber boot.

“Lovely boots, the quality is obvious. I had to return them, however, because the calf size of this boot (48cm) is too big for me and it did not look nice. I ordered the Standard fit instead, which comes to around 44cm.”

“Very good highly quality craftsmanship...they are wide feet...very wide....and I loved the fit with buggier jeans.... beautiful, light, comfy... But I had to return because the wouldn't serve my purpose of walking dog in a rain...would have to get gutters... Which I didn't want to...the rain would just drop down my boots... My legs are chanky, but not wide enough for this fit.”

“Fabulous boots and very quick service from Le Chameau. Unfortunately had to return as they were too wide a fit. I have smaller calfs than I thought! Clearly not the boots’ fault! Will be buying the regular fit instead.”

“The style and quality of these boots is excellent and the foot size is perfect However I returned them because although I specifically chose wide fit I had not anticipated the leg of the boots being so very wide The boots, the ordering , the quality of the product and the delivery service from ale Chameau were all Excellent”

“Quality company At last a company out there with a superb quality product Order, payment, delivery exceptional Very Comfy leathers Correct description of size Extra wide calf without the extra wide ankle Brilliant design on the back of the ankle to stop the boot slouching down and rucking the leathers Waterproof yes Pull on design with tabs on the top Very easy removal Expensive very ! But you get what you pay for All in all 5 star for this product”

“I asked the company for advice on products as have Bern looking for a tall boot with more calf room. They recommended this and they are perfect. Immediately comfortable and look amazing. Have tested them in poor weather and just fantastic.”

“I am very pleased with my boots. The fit is good and as expected. They have been comfortable from the first and have not needed any ‘wearing in’. I’ve not yet had an opportunity to test them in rain and mud but I have every confidence in them.”
