Le Chameau are the only rubber boots to be handmade by a single master bootmaker, each pair is unique. Using the highest quality materials and with a range of iconic and innovative styles, Le Chameau Maîtres Bottiers have been making our boots by hand for over 90 years. Every Le Chameau boot is constructed by one Maîtres Bottier. In order to become a Maîtres Bottier it takes 9 months of training before they are permitted to construct their first rubber boot.

“So far so good, haven't had boots long enough to give them a 5 star rating (last pair of different brand that I had failed after 12 months). They are a bit big, but decided to keep them to allow for extra socks in winter. Not getting much use now with the warm weather.”

“Brilliant replacement for the sadly discontinued unisex pair I have had for 4 years. They are a touch narrower on the leg but I can still comfortably wear jeans under them and don't need socks....my criteria for good boots!!”
