Every Le Chameau boot is constructed by one Maîtres Bottier. In order to become a Maîtres Bottier it takes 9 months of training before they are permitted to construct their first rubber boot.

“LeChameau are very well made quality boots. I have been walking my various dogs over 30 years over rough terrain and have had a variety of other 'top' brands, however, the LeChameau boots are more superior than any of the others. Over recent years, I have found within two years, the other three brands I have had, have developed tiny holes on the top of the boots, and one brand within six months. Obviously these are manufacturing faults. I purchased LeChameau boots in my usual size 5, however, I they are a snug fit, in fact very think socks could be a little constricted. I do have a high instep which does not help. I have been hesitating whether to send them back and get a larger size, but frankly, cannot be faced with the hassle of sending back. I think I will they will loosen up because they are new.”

“Quality even better than expected! Bought these to replace my Hunters and I will never go back. Sizing is perfect and they feel moulded to my feet! I do a lot of muddy dog walks and I've not slipped in these yet thanks to the brilliant grip.”
