Every Le Chameau boot is constructed by one Maîtres Bottier. In order to become a Maîtres Bottier it takes 9 months of training before they are permitted to construct their first rubber boot.

“I ordered a pair of Giverny boots after a lot of deliberation over sizing. I went up from my usual 6 to a 6 1/2 and they are spot on. I suffer with arthritis in my my ankles and need the boots to be snug in that area but always find wellies small in the foot but too big on the ankles these are a perfect fit. The sole is well suited to the muddy terrain I walk on. I ordered the cherry colour and they are lovely.”

“These boots are devine and far better than I imagined. I have had the same pair of die hard Hunter's for the past 12 years but when they finally gave up on me, I fancied a change. I got the cherry colour, which was a big change for a staunch classic green wellie girl! They have not disappointed though and I feel Le Chameau may be my new go to brand.”
