Every Le Chameau boot is constructed by one Maîtres Bottier. In order to become a Maîtres Bottier it takes 9 months of training before they are permitted to construct their first rubber boot.

“A pity 5.5 isn't available - the 39 is a tad too big, even with thicker socks, but many reviewers and the foot size chart recommended going a size up. The width around the calf is a tad wide for me. It is, however, a lovely wellington boot. They are stylish and comfy and hope they last many years!”

“I so wanted to like these boots, but despite being the correct size I found the inner sole very flat and unsupportive and the top of the boot too wide. Sadly I will be returning to another well known brand that I can buy online knowing they will fit, even if they do start to leak too soon.”
