Every Le Chameau boot is constructed by one Maîtres Bottier. In order to become a Maîtres Bottier it takes 9 months of training before they are permitted to construct their first rubber boot.

“In the past 15 or more years have had 3 prs of your Jersey lined wellies , always brilliant, ordered new pair as my last pair beginning to split and shoot season upon us, very, very disappointed, very narrow through ankle and would start rubbing ankle bone, so very sadly have returned them, not happy, were a very good boot.”
