Every Le Chameau boot is constructed by one Maîtres Bottier. In order to become a Maîtres Bottier it takes 9 months of training before they are permitted to construct their first rubber boot.

“These are my second pair. Sadly the first pair only lasted one year, they started to let in water. After much thought I bought another pair. They are expensive, but very comfortable, keep my feet warm, good protection high up the calf, and excellent grip on downhill mud and slippery banks of vegetation. I wear them several times a day throughout the winter. Devon is a very wet county and we are on clay! I need good boots. The Christmas before last I also bought a pair for my daughter in law . She is very pleased with them.”

“Love the boots. The fit is a bit big - US 9 is usually a EU 40. Suprisingly they are quite comfortable on pavement.”
